Since Dallas musician Ryan Hamilton stopped producing music for local band Smile Smile, he's turned to an eponymous solo project and a side project called People on Vacation with Jaret Reddick of Bowling for Soup. Seems some of Reddick's poppy, simple lyrics have rubbed off on Hamilton a bit, as you'll notice in the brand-new single from his solo project debuting exclusively on Pegasus News.

According to Ryan Hamilton, "Medicine" is "about being afraid to let your guard down. Then, when you finally do and that person gets a little closer, they think that something is wrong with you."
The catchy song is called "Medicine" -- sing it with me! M-E-D-I-C-I-N-E, medicine. It's Hamilton's fourth single of the year, all of which will potentially be part of a full-length album that will have hints of country, '60s and pop/rock, Hamilton says.
