Wet Leather is a band from New York City. Their debut singles—
“SECRET PREFERENCE” and “STOP ME IF I'M DOING IT WRONG”—
marry the arch falsetto vocals of 80's synth pop with the DIY dance punk of
the best DFA bands. While the music builds on the legacy of oversexed
80's pop icons, lyrically these songs have more in common with the
neurotic world of Philip Roth than Prince.
