This week, Cardinals shared the EP's focus track "Twist and Turn", an upbeat tune, driven by a tambourine beat and laced with poppy guitar melodies. The band says the track "is a song about how writing has become a highly therapeutic practice for us all. It’s got some poppy melodies and a danceable backbeat, but the lyrics though, they’re all about grief.”
