Okkervil River has released a free covers EP, Golden Opportunities 2. It follows their latest album, I Am Very Far, and is the sequel to their 2007 covers collection, the Golden Opportunities Mixtape. A statement from the band's label, Jagjaguwar, notes that both releases are "intended as [gifts] to fans." The EP was recorded live to tape during a one-day studio session in Austin, Texas.
