Keeled Scales • Nuçi’s Space 21st Anniversary Benefit Compilation • 2021

100% of the funds from this digital-only Bandcamp compilation, available for a limited time from October 1 through December 31, 2021, will go directly to Nuçi’s Space, a nonprofit organization in Athens, GA, whose mission is to prevent suicide. Nuçi’s Space operates a musician and mental health resource center which provides low-cost practice space, gear rentals, etc., and offers subsidized mental and physical health care for musicians and artists in the Athens area.

They’re celebrating their 21st anniversary of pivotal work in the music community. You can read more about what Nuçi’s space is doing for mental health advocacy and suicide prevention here:

This undertaking would not be possible without the kind donations of the artists, managers, labels, designers, and musicians that went out of their way to support mental health advocacy in music.

The Bees Knees - A Compilation For Dan - 2017

Dan Wild-Beesley is an extremely talented and well loved musician who you may know as one half of turbo-prog heroes Cleft and more recently of a third of noise rock nutters GUG.

Dan is currently battling two brain tumors. We need to raise £50,000 so he can seek treatment that isn't available on the NHS and has an 80% success rate of getting cancer patients into remission. This album has been created to help reach his target.

This compilation features a bunch of bands and artists that been
inspired by Dan's musical talents. It has some previously unreleased stuff, some super exclusive stuff, some pretty rare stuff as well a few bangers from current releases.

Paper Trail Records - Choice - 2017

Following on from our 2015 Mental Health Day Compilation, Thanks for Listening, we decided to work together with a cause closer to home. We asked some of our favourite artists here in Ireland, and further abroad, to contribute an unreleased outtake, b-side or live version to be compiled and the response was wonderfully overwhelming. We're really proud of this release, and think it showcases some wonderful talent as well as highlighting how close a cause this is to peoples' hearts.

Every sale goes to The Abortion Support Network through Paypal, so you can be assured that your donations are being put to good use. Big thank you to Ben Dillon, Anna at Repeal, Andrew at Bandcamp and Mara at ASN for making this happen, and to all the artists that donated songs - we're forever in your debt.

Our First 100 Days - 2017

With Trump's first 100 days in office upon us, action must be taken to protect the causes that will come under threat from this administration.

Our First 100 Days seeks to aid in that protection. Joining together with artists and labels we will be releasing one rare, unreleased or exclusive song per day to you via Bandcamp.

For a minimum contribution of $30, supporters will be able to access all 100 songs in the project, including new music from Angel Olsen, How To Dress Well, Toro Y Moi, The Range and many more.

All profits raised from Our First 100 Days will go directly to organizations working on the front lines of climate, women's rights, immigration and fairness.

The project was started in conjunction with Secretly Group and 30 Songs, 30 Days, and aims to raise funds and awareness for organizations supporting causes that are under threat by the proposed policies of a Trump administration. This project is produced with the help of Revolutions Per Minute, an organization that provides strategy and support for artists making change.

Sad! A Barsuk Records Compilation for the ACLU - 2017

Barsuk Records has released 'SAD! (A Barsuk Compilation for the ACLU)', a collection of previously unreleased tracks by Barsuk artists covering other Barsuk artists. Available only on Bandcamp, 100% of the proceeds will go to the American Civil Liberties Union, which works in the nation's courts, legislatures and communities to defend and preserve individual working rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and the laws of the United States.

“After the election, our staff felt compelled to speak out in defense of the civil liberties of all Americans,” says Grant McCallum of Barsuk Records. “Helping support the crucial work of the ACLU by releasing these new tracks felt like one way we could make a statement and help, and the artists involved were all excited to donate their work”

Don't stop now: a collection of covers - 2017

This compilation is an expression of love, anger, hope and protest on inauguration day. Let it serve as a reminder that the fight for justice is not over, that the celebration of diversity is essential to progress, that we must work together for what is fair and good. Can’t stop. Won’t Stop. Don’t stop now.

All proceeds from this compilation benefit the American Civil Liberties Union, an organization that defends individual freedoms in the face of government abuse, including speech and religion, a woman’s right to choose, the right to due process, and citizens rights to privacy. Each dollar donated will help protect the people of the United States, especially those most vulnerable, from the reckless authority of a Trump presidency.

a certain smile - For Ian - 2016

Raised on a steady diet of sarah records singles, slumberland noise pop, and creation era shoegaze, Portland's a certain smile work hard to find that balance between the sweet twee, the fuzzy gaze, and punky pop. Having spent years bubbling over in Philadelphia, a certain smile has taken to it's new Pacific Northwest home with aplomb and are now ready to start bringing their noize to the kids!

This is a benefit for our drummer Ian White who was hit by an SUV while on his scooter. He is currently in the ICU at OHSU hospital and has a long road ahead of him in terms of healing, rehabilitation, and physical therapy. We do not yet know the long-term effects of his head trauma and his many broken bones. We all wish him well and a quick recovery. Every cent we get from this download will go to Ian to help with expenses.

Friends of Brent Puls Fund - 2013

Our friend Brent Puls-- songwriter, painter, nerd, one-time rapper(?!), and "sexy-sax" man--
has had some medical issues of late.

Basically, a childhood gut problem got seriously out of whack and it almost killed him.
He's doing okay now, but that's only after a lot of $urgery.

Brent's friends in the music world donated these songs to help him out with that debt.
Please give as much as you can.
